Only reviewing the first session and hoping it improves. Was a bit over the top for what is supposed to be for the backyard gardener to apply some more ecological ideas to their landscapes. Not sure what his brief was but he came across as someone who was trying to impress his language skills on his audience - was a bit off putting.

I really enjoyed this even though I thought it was going to be about specific indigenous plantings for specific situations and landscaping. I loved the passion of the presenter, and his photos were great to illustrate his points. Looking forward to the next one in the series.

I was dissapointed with the video. The presenter was just reading the notes that were displayed. I feel I would have gotten as much, if not more from the presentation by just reading a pdf of the notes my self. Granted I watched only upto the 40 min mark, so there may have been some improvement after that. Sorry, but might I say, the presentation was boring.

Doug

Thanks for your feedback. I have to say I don't think I have ever run such a polarising session before. We have had people love the content and others who have really disliked it. Our Master Classes are designed for experienced home gardeners. With so much basic gardening content freely available, we focus on providing deeper, research-based insights. But this has to be backed up with practical how to information aimed at home gardeners, which is where I think this presentation failed.I have fed your feedback to the presenter in an effort to help them develop their presenting skills. Hes very experience with plants and design, but has little experience in presenting. It was a gamble that didnt pay off. Each series includes one more thought-provoking session—last night’s being that one. The next two will be more practical, and I’m confident they’ll offer useful, hands-on guidance for your garden.

Much thanks

Teresa
